A medical condition in which the bones become brittle and fragile from loss of tissue, typically as a result of hormonal changes, or deficiency of specific vitamins and minerals. As a result, bones become weak and may break from a minor fall or, in serious cases, even from simple actions, like sneezing or bumping into furniture. We shall identify what nutritional deficits underpin this disease, advice to be given to a client/patient who have been diagnosed with osteoporosis. And as always, how we can modify our lives now to reduce our risk of this disease.
