Description
What Are Floss Bands?
Flossing is a compression-based mobility technique used to improve joint mechanics, reduce swelling, and restore movement. By tightly wrapping a floss band around a muscle or joint, you can enhance blood flow, support muscle recovery, and break down connective tissue adhesions.
Commonly used by physiotherapists, athletes, and rehab specialists, floss bands are ideal for addressing post-surgical swelling, injury recovery, and stiffness.

How to Use Floss Bands
-

-
5 cm: Knees, shoulders, hips (most popular size)
-
-
Wrap the area with 50% overlap, increasing pressure as you go.
-
Perform gentle movement while wrapped (1–2 mins max).
-
Unwrap and move the area to boost blood flow.
Tip: Start with light compression. Stop if pain occurs.
Choosing Band Thickness
-
1.0 mm: Standard compression (suitable for most users)
-
1.5 mm: Extra compression (ideal for hips or larger athletes)
Use on Animals
Used under vet guidance, floss bands can also aid mobility, pain relief, and circulation in animals — especially horsesand dogs.
