Over the next 12 weeks
We shall be exploring the Evidence Based Medicine (EBM) world of injuries: What are injuries? How do injuries happen? What are the most common injuries? What happens when an injury occurs? What can we do to help? What advice should we be giving to a Patient/Client who has injured themselves? What rehabilitative tools should we be using/advising? Why do some people never improve post injury? Why do some injuries initiate a domino effect when going through rehab? When do we know we have optimised the rehab programme? And many more questions that I hear on a day-to-day basis.
Please feel free to openly discuss/comment (constructively) on these blogs so that I may explore your comments and reply to them in the following weeks thread. There shall also be a Private FB Group run by a Colleague I am Mentoring – although this Group is closed to their Professionals, we shall also be using their comments to build this 12 week blog.
After many discussions with my Colleagues and Patients it was decided for me to employ the term/diagnosis of ‘Sciatica’ as the template for deeper discussions on injuries over the next 12 weeks. We shall be investigating ‘what we know‘ and ‘what we have been taught‘. We shall then be adding to this knowledge, possibly exposing its weaknesses based on EBM, breaking this down and building it back up with a superior foundation of knowledge.

There are so many mechanisms involved in squatting, some of these mechanisms are fundamental to the human design, others blow off the cobwebs and allow us to keep moving safely and efficiently. Reducing squatting exposes the joints to premature aging; knees, hips, ankles, spine, and pelvis.
Thumb joint corrects foot pain! Seriously?I know, crazy right? I must be mistaken? It has to be some kind of black magic? I'm pain-free because of some other factor? It must be psychosomatic?To be honest, I have heard it all now. What's important? My wrist is pain-free enabling me to get back to a normal life after 2 years of pain!
